CLE: "Starting, Maintaining & Improving Your Own Practice"

LeGal, the LGBT Bar Association of Grater New York City, presents this CLE program designed for attorneys in all practice areas who are considering starting their own practice and attorneys who wish to enhance their existing practices.

Day 1 of the program will cover areas such as developing your professional identity, starting and managing your physical/virtual office, the ins & outs of retainer agreements, and best practices with respect to billing, fee types and professional insurance.

Day 2 will focus on technology & infrastructure for your practice (from computer systems to tech support), the latest in software for contact management, billing, calendar scheduling & beyond and advertising, marketing & branding your practice, including developing your web presence, advertising and using social media and traditional networking to drive your practice. On each day, the panel will review many of the ethical issues frequently encountered by solo practitioners and small firms.

Attend one or both nights of the CLE! Take advantage of the reception following each evening's presentation to network with members of the panel as well as other attendees.
